Alibaba timetable (revised 16 April 2024): Monday to Friday on the board; Saturdays, Sundays and Selangor public holidays switch to the weekend timetable
Busy days, breakdowns and low tide Alibaba warns that its timetable may change at peak times and asks passengers to follow the crew on duty at the jetty. A breakdown, low tide or large crowds in high season can delay departures or arrivals, and the company states that it gives no refunds or compensation in those cases.
Sungai Lima Only two weekend and public holiday sailings call at Sungai Lima: the 10:30 from Port Klang and the 13:30 from Pulau Ketam. Alibaba does not publish a separate fare to or from Sungai Lima.
Public holidays The weekend timetable also applies on public holidays. Alibaba does not say which holiday calendar it follows; the dates loaded here are Selangor public holidays and replacement days from November 2026 to October 2027. If in doubt, call Alibaba on 012-696 8092.

Alibaba Pulau Ketam Cruises runs a high-speed passenger ferry from the South Port Passenger Terminal in Port Klang to the jetty at Pulau Ketam, which Alibaba describes as a Chinese fishermen's village. The company gives the trip as 35 minutes on its home page and about 40 minutes in its FAQ, adding that at low tide the boat takes a different route and the crossing is slightly longer.
The company works to two timetables. From Monday to Friday there are eight boats each way, always on the half hour, with a break of about three hours in the early afternoon. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays the gap in the afternoon disappears and boats run hourly, eleven each way. On those days the 10:30 from Port Klang and the 13:30 from the island also stop at Sungai Lima. The timetable image on Alibaba's fares page carries a revision date of 16 April 2024, and the operator says times may change at peak periods, so the crew at the jetty has the final word.
Fares changed on 3 November 2025. An adult pays RM15 one way or RM25 return; a child aged 4 to 12 pays RM10 or RM16. Children under 4 ride free when each is with a paying adult, and a licensed tour guide travels free with a group of at least 40. Insurance is not part of the fare. A RM20 return mentioned on Alibaba's home page differs from the fare table dated November 2025; the table is the one used here.
Tickets are sold at the Alibaba counter inside the South Port Passenger Terminal, on board, or online through EasyBook, redBus and Klook. Alibaba asks you to check in at least 5 minutes before departure and to arrive about 20 minutes early. Each passenger may bring one mid-size trolley bag plus a small bag for the overhead rack. The boats have an air-conditioned cabin and an open deck, with life jackets stored under the seats.
Delays caused by breakdowns, low tide or crowds are not refunded, according to Alibaba's conditions. For questions, the company lists 012-696 8092.
- Arrive at the jetty in good time; check-in counters can close a few minutes before departure, and routes with immigration checks need extra time.
- Check the operator's notices on the day — rough seas, low tide and the monsoon seasons can change or cancel sailings.
- Carry your passport on routes to Thailand; some destinations charge a separate park or entry fee.
