Dated examples only: Langkawi Andaman Ferry lists its sailings date by date, and this board carries its list for 3 to 17 November 2026. For later dates, check the operator's schedule viewer · Representative sailings only — check the operator for today's full schedule

Later dates The board covers only 3 to 17 November 2026, as dated examples. For any later date, look up the operator's Ferry Schedule on CutiCuti Langkawi (tab 2, Andaman Ferry) or ask at the F3S counter in the Jetty Point satellite building; do not assume the same times.

Not the Koh Lipe ferry Ferries to Koh Lipe leave from Telaga Terminal at Pantai Kok or, with Tropical Charter, from Kuah Jetty Point; they are different services with their own fares.

Single-journey prices, the same in both directions, from Langkawi Andaman Ferry's page on CutiCuti Langkawi. Booking online costs more than paying at the counter: RM65 per adult aged 13 and over, RM55 per child from 5 to 12 and RM35 under 5 online, against RM55, RM45 and RM25 at the Langkawi counter. The Satun counter charges 450, 350 and 150 Thai baht. Counters take cash only and ask to see your passport. The total at online checkout may include further charges. Confirmed tickets are not refunded; a change costs a RM20 processing fee, is not possible within 48 hours of departure, and the route cannot be changed. All fares in Malaysian ringgit (MYR) unless another currency is shown.

Langkawi Andaman Ferry Ventures runs the passenger boat between Kuah Jetty Point on Langkawi and Tammalang pier in Satun province, Thailand. Its Langkawi ticket counter, F3S, is in the satellite ferry building of the Jetty Point complex, behind the KFC. This is not the Koh Lipe route: those boats sail from Telaga Terminal or from Kuah with another company, and they land on the island rather than at Tammalang.

The operator lists its sailings one date at a time in the schedule viewer of CutiCuti Langkawi, where it appears as the second tab, Andaman Ferry. The board on this page carries only its list for 3 to 17 November 2026, as dated examples, not a timetable for other weeks. On those dates there is one boat a day in each direction: from Kuah at 09:30 Malaysian time until 13 November and at 11:00 from 14 November, and from Tammalang at 11:30 or 12:00 Thai time. The same date can switch vessel, between Eks Bahagia 18 and Kenangan 6. For any later date, look it up in the viewer before planning around these times. Thailand is one hour behind Malaysia, so read each time in the clock of the pier you leave from. The operator's terms say schedules are not guaranteed and may change. It does not publish a crossing time; the Langkawi Development Authority's visitor guide gives about 1 hour 15 minutes.

Two price lists apply. Online on CutiCuti Langkawi, a single costs RM65 for an adult aged 13 or over, RM55 for a child of 5 to 12 and RM35 under 5. At the Langkawi counter the same tickets cost RM55, RM45 and RM25, and at the Satun counter 450, 350 and 150 baht; counters accept cash only and want to see your passport. Tickets are not refundable. A change of date or time costs RM20 and must be made more than 48 hours before departure.

Check in 60 minutes before sailing. This is an international crossing with immigration at both ends: carry a passport valid for at least six months, any visa your nationality requires, a completed Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before entering Thailand and a Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) when entering Malaysia. Visa rules differ by passport, so check them with the Malaysian and Thai immigration authorities.

  • Arrive at the jetty in good time; check-in counters can close a few minutes before departure, and routes with immigration checks need extra time.
  • Check the operator's notices on the day — rough seas, low tide and the monsoon seasons can change or cancel sailings.
  • Carry your passport on routes to Thailand; some destinations charge a separate park or entry fee.
